I went through a drive-thru around 4:30 this morning. The kid at the window asked me, “Why are you always here this time of morning?” I told him finals are this month and that I can’t be bothered to make breakfast when I haven’t slept. He said, “Oh, ok. I get that,” but I’m willing to bet that, if he had enough time to work at this hour of the morning...
When it’s just turning November and a professor’s saying, “But that’s not even due until the last week of class, so don’t worry about it now,” I get anxious immediately. Hello December.
